Consorzio Piemonte Obertengo, created in June 1999, has the aim to promote and to stimulate the production and the marketing of the quality wines from Curone, Grue and Ossona valleys, in the province of Alessandria.

The aims are to protect, promote, organize and stimulate wine production and marketing activities, to comply with European Union quality standards and to support the circulation of consortium members’ products.

In all, Consortium members own a surface of about 250 hectares and put on the market about 500.000 bottles, almost entirely with a “registered designation of origin” and constant high quality, devoting themselves in particular to autochthonous vineyards.
